It was nice knowing ya, my friend.
Have fun getting sucked into the greater crackberry consciousness. Give a holler when you manage to climb back out the black hole. :D

So long Fenris, let us know when you disconnect it :P
Seriously, I've seen so many people who can't go more than a few minutes without checking it, even in social situations totally outside of work, I just don't see what the attraction to them is.

 You guys are so funny.
I just got it, I wanted to see what my favorite website looks like on it. It's ok to make posts from but it's hard to quote posts because of the text size. Anyway, I mostly use it to chat with my wife, who is own her own. But she actually uses it for work (so I'm told, anyway).

They can become addicting. I used to have one. But they can also be very useful.

Except for the hating it part I'm in agreement. I have this need to be able to be reached by email text or voice at any time. I'm weird that way...but I hate the feeling of being "cut off" and the BB fills that big void.

I love the freedom of being unreachable. I love holidays where people can leave me messages but not contact me in real time. When I'm out hiking I don't want to be bothered by a phone call for things that can wait, and I certainly don't want someone calling me because they can't be bothered to spend 5 minutes working something out for themselves.

I have an 8820, but I don't use it to surf the web. That would be a violation of Government regulations prohibiting surfing on unsecured networks. ;)

Well, that's what Shabbat and holidays are like for me. Believe me, it is very necessary.

LOL....Not really. My Blackberry is issued by the Government for two purposes, exchange mail and cell phone. Because it can be used to store data, it is not supposed to b used to connect either WI-fi or to the network.

What government agency do you work for? Or could you tell me, but then you have to kill me? (nervously looking over my shoulder now...)
