recover-ing alcoholic / addict

hello, my is george and thanks to my lord jesus christ I an four and a half yrs clean and sober , well let me look at my drunk log. It all started when some addict broke into my trailer and attacked me forcing me to have sex with them [ it was a homosexual on a cocaine trip ] , after I retired from the military I became home-less looking for help I was dazed and confused from my alcohol bringe , I have spent five yrs in a hospital program designed for veterans ,. the only advice that I could give is to seek a recovery program do as the counselor or sponsor suggest and work those steps and pray thats the only way you will met GOD half-way and believe me the program the step work and GOD WILL PREVAIL ONLY IF YOU ALLOW CHRIST TO HELP YOU .:pray:

Hi George! Praise the Lord that HE did prevail in your life...once we surrender all, HE comes on in....see, HE is always there knocking, it's us who won't let HIM in....we do serve and Awesome God, my brother-in-Christ!

God Bless you George!!! Isn't it amazing how and where God finds us and how He uses our circumstances to serve His purpose? I pray that you continue to find peace and serenity in your recovery!! From experience also I can testify to the sanity we receive after being dragged from the depths of insanity.

God is incredible!! I am so thankful for what He has done for a lowly wretch like me.
