Someone wishes to use a pic on my site. I sent the link (http://www.ebfl.org/images/ecf1109frontSmall.jpg) but this shows up:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /images/ecf1109frontSmall.jpg on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I get the impression I need to somehow make it accessible to the public. How can I do that? I use webnet77 rsvSiteBuilder.

Instead of posting it as a link above, actually post the picture....I get the same thing, which makes me think the link is invalid.

I went to the parent folder, that had the picture of the fishing pole and the index just fine....just not sure about the pic from the link above.

If you can get the pic to show here in a post, we'll get the link straightened out.

Another way to test the link, is to enter it yourself straight into your webbrowser addressbar....hit enter, and it should load that pic in your webbrowser.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. The problem you had was you had direct linking to images blocked in your .htaccess file. I commented out the lines. This now works: http://www.ebfl.org/images/ecf1109frontSmall.jpg

... You might not be paying but if you are you want to be very careful with allowing that sort of linking, it directly affects your bandwidth and costs money to do that.
