Closed Threads

It's obvious why many of the threads are closed ~ announcements, guidelines, updates, rules etc.

Some closed threads have a short note from the moderator as to why ~ off topic, under review, etc. while others are just closed without a reason. Once again, it's obvoius as to why with some but it's not so with other threads.

Would it be possible when a thread is closed for the moderator to make a short note for clarification (violation of rules/guidelines, nugatory argument, abusiive, etc.)?

Announcements, rules, notices, etc., are routinely closed as soon as being posted so no additional posts are in the thread.

Our policy on closing other threads is for the moderator closing the thread to post why the thread is closed. If this is not happening, please report the post.
