How do you turn on Private messaging

I checked the frequently asked A& Q Private Messaging thread. BUt how do I turn the it on. Because when I tried to private message someone it sayed something to the extent of "you must turn your pm on adn it sayed to do it by editing options. So am i supposed to type my e-mail in one of those MSN/Yahoo/(ICQ??) boxes.And i dont really now which one I'm supposed to type in if so.

Thanks Moxie!! The problem was that I thought you turned on private messaging by somehow Edit Your Details and Edit Options was probably the only button I didn't hit searching the UserCP for private messaging! :hmm:And I never thought of looking for it in Search! People like you are just to smart!!:)
