This examination, will begin with specific passages throughout chapters 1-13, and then detail all of chapter 14, showing the Messianic vision that Zechariah was given.
Zech 2:10-11 Prophecy
"Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee."
Explanation:
Zechariah speaks of a time coming, in which the Lord of Hosts will dwell in the midst of zion, and many nations shall be joined to Him in that day, and shall be His people. This was fulfilled in the 1st century AD, when the Lord of Hosts did come and dwell in the midst of them; and many nations (Gentiles) did become His people.
Zech 3:8-9 Prophecy
"Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. "
Zechariah 3:8-9 Fulfillment
Acts 3:26 "Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. "
Explanation:
When Jesus, the BRANCH, said those eternal words, "It Is Finished", He most certainly removed the iniquity of the land in one day. Zechariah looked forward to that day.

"And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD. And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God. "

Mark 14:58 "I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands."
Acts 15:16 "After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles"
Explanation:
In the earlier passages prior to this, Zechariah prophesies about the temple Zerubbabel would initiate and complete. Now Zechariah goes further, showing that the true temple of the Lord, will be the one that Jesus Christ, the BRANCH, shall build; and it shall be built upon living stones by those from afar off who come and participate in its building.

"Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts. Explanation:
Zechariah describes Jesus coming to save His people from the east to the west from their sins, and He would be marvelous in their eyes, and they shall be His people and He shall be their God; and so it was and so it continues to be.

Zechariah prophesied that Christ's coming would be to set family member and neighbor against each other, to make they choice: Would they serve Him or not? Would they take up and follow His cross or not?

Zechariah telling that when Jesus comes, He shall bring forth fruit through those who follow Him, and spread His gosepl, and they shall posess all things they shall ask the Father for in His name.

"Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you."

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."

Luke 20:18 "Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder."
Explanation:
Zechariah is prophesying about the future seige of Judea by Rome, and Zechariah makes it known that at that time, will the prophecies concerning the awaited Messiah come to fulfillment. Jesus is the burdensome stone in Jerusalem that all the people of the earth are cut in peices and grind assunder by.
Zech 12:7-8 Prophecy
"The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. "
Explanation:
Jesus came first, to save the 'tents of Judah' and the 'house of David' who trusted and looked in expectation for Him; Simeon and Anna and Nathaniel being examples. Through the Lord Jesus, the weak are made strong; as was exampled in the lame man described in Acts 3: "And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know "

"And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. Explanation:

Explanation:
The fountain flows from the nail-scarred hands which provide remission of all sin and uncleanliness. "And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself"

"Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. "

Not all of the people of the Land would survive the fire. Many turned away from Jesus and renounced Him, even yelling "Crucify Him, Crucify Him!". Jesus Himself told us that wide is the path that leadeth to destruction and many go therein.....but few (those refined by His fuller's soap) go the narrow way, which leadeth unto Everlasting Life. Those are His people. The Lord is their God!

"And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God. "
Explanation:
Not all of the people of the Land would survive the fire. Many turned away from Jesus and renounced Him, even yelling "Crucify Him, Crucify Him!". Jesus Himself told us that wide is the path that leadeth to destruction and many go therein.....but few (those refined by His fuller's soap) go the narrow way, which leadeth unto Everlasting Life. Those are His people. The Lord is their God!
