Welcome to the Christian Message Board

The purpose of the introduction section is that in here we would like you to post an introductory message telling us a little bit about yourself. It can be as big or as short as you like. If you feel compelled to share your testimony please do so! If you are just saying "hi" before jumping on board that is good aswell.

Please take some time and familiarize yourself with the board rules. http://www.bibleforums.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=32

This is important because our board contains rules that other boards do not. So applying the "commonsense" strategy of skipping the rules because they are virtually all the same isnt recommended here.

Its a good idea to note your Christian Status.

In your "userCP" you can select

"yes i am a Christian"
"No i am not but i am seeking Christ"
"No i am not a christian"

Selecting one of these is a must. It will overall be a big help not only to you but to the members and admin of this board.

By selecting either of the "no" options we ask that you limit your posting to the "Christian Answers" section and the "kicking back" subsection for the time being.

As a general rule of this forum that is where all Non-Christians are asked to post. Please dont feel as though we are hindering you or "seek to oppress nonbelievers". With a forum this size it helps us effectively moderate the board and to work with the other members.

Please also keep in mind that the Christians Answer section was designed for mainly those that are seeking and also those that have questions about our faith. If you look at the synopsis you will see

Are you an Atheist, Agnostic, Non Believer? Post your questions here.Posting in that section to push beliefs that are contrary to the protestant faith will not be tolerated.

This is just a heads up as many joining members dont take the time to read the full rules that are unique to this site.

We are glad to have you on board. Dont feel overwhelmed but instead test the waters and jump right in! I hope you find the discussions edifying and i hope this board is a blessing to you as it has been to me over the years. :)

On behalf of the staff here I welcome you to the boards!

If you have any further questions please direct yourself to the "chat to moderators" section on the board and we will address any questions or concerns that you may have in a timely fashion!

Another quick note about the Introductions forum. This is the howdy/welcome forum. :)

This forum is not a discussion forum, but a welcoming forum. Please drop in here, introduce yourself and say hi.

Please start any discussion threads in the appropriate forum. Any discussions will either be deleted or moved at the discretion of the moderators.

The Frequently Asked Questions (http://bibleforums.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11) forum may help answer some of your how to questions about using the board featurs. And each forum as a description and some have additional rules if you have any questions about what can or can not be posted or what topics go in which forums. You can also start a thread in the Chat 2 Moderators forum if you do not find answers to your questions in the those places.

Welcome to the forum, enjoy. :)
