I find it enlightening that the rich man (a Pharisee?) being in Hades is still wanting things for himself, water for his tongue to lessen his torment, and someone to be resurrected for his 5 brothers. It is my understanding that a requirement for being a Pharisee is knowing the Torah (law of Moses) by heart. One spiritual law very evident is you reap what you sow.
