Hello miepie,

I just wanted to thank all those who prayed for me during my lymphoma chemo (December 06 through May 07). My doctor (and everyone I know) says I have done as well as anyone they have ever seen. I want to thank God, and all of you for your prayers. The bad news (if there is any) is that this is a chronic lymphoma/leukemia which usually returns again and again until it wins. So I ask for prayers that God will keep this cancer at bay for at least as long as I might be of use to Him on this earth (and right now I do have a wife and three daughters ages 15, 12, and 8 to provide for, but I believe He will provide for them if and when I am no longer around).

I pray that God be with all those who are chronically ill. Remember that this life is not all there is; there is life beyond the grave for those who serve the Living God.

Last week on a blood work a level was in the CANCER RANGE..have to redo this Wed.; and schedule ct-scan & liver biopsy w/ in a month..praying that this was a false reading..NEED PRAYER &

After coming off of the 1 yr. of medications unfortunately my Hep C viral level went up to 4 million---this was an unexpected set back.

It appears that the hep c virus hid in some FATTY LIVER, and that made it undetectable. Due to the medications I also may have developed PRE-DIABETES.

My HIV remains undetectable, thank God, but I could use a rise in t-cells. Hence, please lift up in prayers for a Fatty Liver to return to normal; Hepatitis C virus level to go down; NO diabetes to progress; and T-Cells needed to boost my immune system to rise. And NO CANCER!

A COMPLETE MEDICAL OVER-HAUL ! & Help in getting both pension plans to be 100 % correct; for past disabilty payments to be approved; & a NYC Bond overdue returned...

I thank you for who you are. I thank and praise you Lord that we are all in your hands...You are so awesome and wonderful! You are our counsellor, our healer, our whatever we need when we need it..thank you Lord that we are all in your hands...I just lift all these brothers and sisters up to you on this list and the ones that are not on this list ..you know who they are for you know all things...I ask you Lord to touch their bodies and give them strength ..let the very blood of the Lamb flow through each of them and just wash out all impurities...all sickness in the name of Jesus....I speak to these bodies,"I command you to line up with the Word of God!" YOUr Word, Lord, says that we are to walk in health and if any two agree on one thing then it shall be done...Father, we are agreeing for healing in Your children and I also ask you Father to draw in their lost loved ones by your Spirit. Bandit, I continue to pray for you and your family everyday too.

And I do thank you, Debra R. I am doing quite well. Other than still not having all of my energy back, and having some minor pains (and some extreme sensitivity in some of my back teeth of all things), I have no health related complaints from the cancer/chemo. I know they dump a lot of chemicals into your body during chemo, and I am thankful that the long-term side-effects were/are fairly minimal as far as I can tell. I wish all who go through such things could come out as well (or better) than I. My current prayer request is that if I have gone through all this for some higher purpose, that I will not miss that purpose. We do live in a fallen world, and disease and death are a part of it, whether we want to accept it or not. I want to come out of this being somehow a better Christian than I was before. I know some will disagree strongly with what I am about to present, but I also think it aligns with biblical teaching. I saw a Chinese proverb which said,

"A gem cannot be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials."

This has become a very meaning statement to me. So I glorify Christ in my trials. May I become what He wants me to be through them.

And hello to you, Faithworks. I do agree with your prayer. God Most High, when it does coincide with Your will, I do ask for the healing of all those who call upon Your Name, so that Your Name may be glorified on earth as it is in heaven. And when You do allow physical death to overtake those who call upon Your Name, welcome them into Your presence and give them eternal peace.

I'm new here, nobody knows me. I have leukemia, which is in remission for the last year and half. I have undergone treatment 3 times and it works for about 2 years. Please pray for the healing mercy of God, or that the length of time between treatments be lengthened. Thanks.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I stand on the word of God right now for the healing of the afflicted. I know that God is more than able to bring about healing. His word tells us that we should pray for one another so in my prayer time I will be adding those on this board who are afflicted to my list.

I also had Cancer and recovered from two rounds of Hodgkin's and with God's help and Hope, you will recover again. Look into a Cancer hospital like, Cancer TREATMENT CENTERS OF AMERICAN or Fox Chase in Philly, Sloans Kettering in NY City.

Make sure that you take important supplements, like Alpha Lipoic Acid, and Milk Thistle, also CQ10 for the liver, heart and many other Amino Acids and large amounts of Vitimain A, all the B's and C's Ester-C and E, also plenty of D & D3 especially when you are on chemo. Tell your doctor first about these supplements. They have been study under the Mayo Clinic Research Hospital for repairing the liver and given strenght to the Immune system

May God Give you a miracle, a Total healing, of Mind, Body, and Soul, according to His will, and in agreement with many others who are praying,

If you could please add my friend from AV, her sister, and her dad.
They have become like an extension to my family.
We think of ourselves like older brother / younger sister in Christ, not just best friends.
Anyway,
The medical problems they face every day hit them hard on a physical level.
And hit them and everyone they know hard on an emotional level.

Forgot to add:
Yes Marfan is a genetic problem ( Parent - child ).
But it wasn't the father's fault, or the mother's fault,
or anyone else's for that matter, except maybe the system.
The problem is that they are a good example
as to why medical records of adopted people should be made available.
The father was adopted and the medical records where unaccessible to his adopted parents.
And then when he was old enough to make the request on his own, the records 'mysteriously disappeared'.
So no-one had the slightest clue that his biological family had a long history of sever heart problems.
He didn't find out until his oldest when in for a physical when she was 8.
And the physician noticed some of the symptoms of Marfan and referred them to a specialist.
And the specialist tested and diagnosed each of them with Marfan,
and got them treatment ASAP.

Why do I say the system failed them?
Because for as long as I have known them the father and the mother have
said if they had known about the father's medical history
they would have been more likely to adopt then have biological children,
in fact they are fostering, a young child (about 8 years old) right now.
It's not that they don't love the biological children they have.
They do, as far as I can tell the only one that they Love more is God Himself.
The thing is that by not having the info,
many times they feel like that they where gambling with there children's lives.
And that just isn't right, unless God gives you a command to do so.
But then if He is telling you to do so, it isn't much of a gamble is it?
