I pray in agreement with these and all other heartfelt prayers for our brothers and sisters in need of our Lord's healing touch. Right now !We take authority over all sickness and disease and cast it away from our brothers and sisters in the name of Jesus The Son of God ! Praise you and thank you Lord for your lovingkindness towards us.

    Oh Lord,
I thank You for all Your people. I thank you that You have a purpose for everything and that You are faithful to minister to us through our infirmities as to others through us. Lord I ask for all these brothers and sisters, and for myself. May pain come to be seen as an opportunity to know the suffering You endured for us. May our circumstance make us better able to know how to love others, let us not be given to despair, or be controlled by emotions. Let us rely entirely on You and minister in all situations we are able to the very best of our ability.

I ask these things, and pray your blessings,

    IN YOUR Son's Name,

    AMEN.

Thank You for Your great Love for us!

    IN Your Son's Name,

    Amen.

Kars (add) - thQ. Living with chronique fatique, fibromyalgia, restlessness and just alot of nasty symptoms. I need this thing to stop tearing me apart emotionally and physically, so I can live the life God has planned for me. I want to see people healed and Gods glory manifest, hallelulejah. I want to study and get revelation of the grace of God. People here need to know about it and the church needs change. Please pray for me to have new energy to do this. Also Id like to get in contact with someone who's got the same. I read an old reply of Lia, but I can't visit her profile page. I can't understand how she can have lived with it for 30 years. Either I have it more severe or she has more strenth than me, because I have this for a year now and it's just awful. Respect for you Lia. Hope you are well.

I'm guessing my post belongs here instead of on a new thread. I've been battling Crohn's Disease for a good portion of my life, I've had resections and am having flareups now that have me looking emaciated. It get's difficult for me to function at times. I would appreciate it if you could keep me in your prayers. Thank you.

Re: Prayerthread for chronically ill members

I just noticed this thread, so I'd appreciate it if you could add both of my parents to the list.

My dad was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) a few years ago after an unrelated blood test produced some weird numbers. It hasn't really done much yet since then, but I'm sure he'd still appreciate prayer since there's always that nagging fear that the numbers are about to spike or something.

My mom has quite a few health issues going on, some more chronic than others. I think she rarely goes a day without a lot of pain (she jokingly said once that her version of a pain scale is 1 for tolerable pain and 2 for too much pain to function), and it can really affect her mobility at times to the point where she's hoping to get a permanent handicapped parking permit once her temporary one expires (and she's definitely not the sort of person to use something like that needlessly).

Thanks in advance for your prayers for them.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
    ~Philippians 4:6-7

Unhappy Worsening Cerebellar Atrophy: Please pray for me

    Dear brothers and sisters,

A little over five years ago, I was diagnosed with Cerebellar Atrophy (shrinkage of the 'region of the [lower] brain that plays an important role in motor control', Wikipedia). This effects my balance and movement (ataxia), and my speech (dystarthia). The condition is getting progressively worse: difficulties with my balance and movement are more frequent and stronger than before, and my speech is also getting worse (pronunciation difficulties, strong slurring at times etc.). I sometimes get quite anxious and frustrated about the movement and speech problems. According to the neurologists consulted, there is no known cure – or effective treatment – for the condition.

I would appreciate prayer for healing, and for wisdom and help in dealing with the worsening symptoms, and the anxiety and frustration.

    Thanks,

    God bless you,

    doug3

Re: Worsening Cerebellar Atrophy: Please pray for me

Father in heaven, your only begotten Son who you sent, Christ Jesus who could heal us even before He shed His blood to perfectly satisfy your justice.
These who come asking for healing, they know and trust that Jesus your Lamb need just speak the word to heal them, and they came here in hope on His word Father, we know you can do all things.
In your mercy today heal those who look to and trust in Him, do this to glorify your name and to bring us joy.

    Have mercy on us.
