All the angels exalt you high
What a kingdom to depart
But you left your throne in the sky
Just to live in side my heart.
Third Day – Consuming Fire
All the angels exalt you high
What a kingdom to depart
But you left your throne in the sky
Just to live in side my heart.
Third Day – Consuming Fire
My favorite lyrics are by many secular bands. They discuss the pain they live in, the pain without Christ. It reassures me everyday that I am truly blessed.
Ditto what Schmuckboy said. Linkin Park have some touching lyrics which remind me exactly how it feels to not know Christ:
When this began
I had nothing to say
And I'd get lost in the nothingness inside of me
I was confused
And I'd let it all out to find
That I'm not the only person with these things in mind
Inside of me
But all the vacancy the words revealed
Is the only real thing that I've got left to feel
Nothin' to lose
Just stuck
Hollow and alone
And the fault is my own
And the fault is my own
I wanna heal
I wanna feel
What I thought was never real
I wanna let go of the pain I've felt so long
Erase all the pain 'til it's gone
I wanna heal
I wanna feel
Like I am close to something real
I wanna find something I've wanted all along
Somewhere I Belong
As for Christian lyrics, this is what comes to mind at the moment:
You are beautiful beyond description,
Too marvelous for words.
Too wonderful for comprehension,
Like nothing ever seen or heard.
Who can grasp your infinite wisdom?
Who can fathom the depth of your love?
You are beautiful beyond description,
Majesty enthroned above!
And I stand, I stand in awe of you.
I stand, I stand in awe of you.
Holy God to whom all praise is due,
I stand in awe of you.
There are so many more lyrics I'd love to share with you, but I think this'll do for today.I may be back another day though...
Hello, nice people.![]()
I like almost anything by Mercy Me. The song of theirs I find myself humming *this* week is "There's a Reason" from the album "Spoken For." Like most of their songs, it is beautiful and uplifting:
Now's the time
Let the redeemed celebrate
If you know what I know
You can't wipe the smile off your face
Oh people, stand up and praise!
There's a reason to dance
There's a reason to sing
Of the sacred romance
With our Savior and King
We lift up our hands
We fall on our knees
To the Son of Man
The reason we are free
There's a reason
All glory to
The King of Kings, Lord of Lords
Oh, the value of Your worth
No worldly treasures can afford
And we praise You forevermore
There's a reason to stand
There's a reason to shout, to shout Your name on high
So we take up our cross, there's a reason to die
Because Jesus is alive!
I just have to shout, "AMEN!" We delight in the Lord. We live and die for the Lord.![]()

P.S.: Their album "Almost There" is excellent also.
Remember Surrender
- Sara Groves
Remember surrender
Remember the rest
Remember that weight lifting off of your chest
And realizing that it's not up to you and it never was
Remember surrender
Remember relief
Remember how tears rolled down both of your cheeks
As the warmth of a heavenly father came closing in
I want to do that again
Why can't I live there
And make my home
In sweet surrender
I want to do so much more than remember
Remember surrender
Remember peace
Remember how soundly you fell fast asleep
In the face of your troubles your future still shone like the morning sun
Remember surrender
Remember that sound
Of all of those voices dying down
But one who speaks clearly of helping and healing you deep within
I want to do that again
Why can't I live there
And make my home
In sweet surrender
I want to do so much more than remember
Remember
Oh surrender
I want to do that again
Oh why can't I live there and make my home
In sweet surrender
I want to do so much more than remember
Remember
Remember surrender
Remember the rest
Remember that weight lifting off of your chest
And realizing that it's not up to you and it never was
I just love this song, I requested it sung at my baptism:
In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This cornerstone, This solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My comforter, my all in all
Here in the love of Christ I stand
In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
'Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live
There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ
No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
'Til he returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand
So wonderful and so true!![]()
People Get Ready…Jesus is Comin’
written by Bryan Ray/Dan Posthuma
Lord I’m ready now
I’m waiting for Your triumphant return
You’re coming so soon
This world has nothing for me
I find my peace and joy solely in You
Only in You
I want the world to see that
You’re alive and living well in me
Let me be a part of the harvest
For the days are few
He’s coming soon
People get ready
Jesus is comin’
Soon we’ll be going home
People get ready
Jesus is coming
To take from the world His own
There will be a day
When we will be divided right and left
For those who know Him
And those who do not know
Those who know Him well
Will meet Him in the air
Hallelujah
God is with us
Those who do not know
They will hear "Depart, I knew you not"
For my friends you see
There will be a day when we’ll be counted
So know Him well, know Him well
Repeat chorus
My Lord, what love is this?
That pays so dearly
That I, the guilty one,
May go free!
Amazing love!
Oh, what sacrifice!
The Son of God,
Given for me.
My debt he pays,
And my death he dies,
That I might live,
That I might live!
And so, they watched Him die,
Despised, rejected,
But, oh! The blood he shed
Flowed for me!
Amazing love!
Oh, what sacrifice!
The Son of God,
Given for me.
My debt he pays,
And my death he dies,
That I might live,
That I might live!
And now, this love of Christ
Shall flow like rivers.
Come wash your guilt away,
Live again!
Amazing love!
Oh, what sacrifice!
The Son of God,
Given for me.
My debt he pays,
And my death he dies,
That I might live,
That I might live,
That I might live!
THANK YOU, Lord!![]()
4 Him - Greatest Story Ever Told
When I was a child
I heard a great story
Of kingdoms and empires
And prophets of old
Of heroes and martyrs
Who died for their cause
And through every chapter
The story was told
Of redemption and love
Sometimes written in red
Headed right to the heart
Of every woman and man
CHORUS
And down through the ages
Again and again
It's the greatest story ever told
Straight from the pages
From beginning to end
It's the greatest story ever told
Wise could never begin to explain
The measure of grace
This wonderous book holds
It's more than a fable
Or and old fairy tale
It's the greatest, greatest story ever told
For thousands of years
This pearl of great wisdom
Has weathered through changes
And lasted through wars
Many a doubter
Has risen and fallen
Built the story had never once
Abandoned it's course
For the author still speaks
To the listening ones
Through the voices of men
And through the pages
The pages of love
REPEAT CHORUS
This world that we live in could never contain
The wealth of compassion
This wondrous book holds
It's more than a fable or an old fairy tale
It's the greatest, greatest story ever told
This is one of my favorite songs.
4 Him - The King And I
The sun is rising and once again
The morning finds me on my knees
On the days horizon I have got
An invitation to see the King
Far away from the worries that weigh me down
I am taken to holy ground
To the place where mercy and love abounds
There in the midst of His throne
I know in my heart this is where I belong
CHORUS
Where the King and I go walking together
Side by side in a Heavenly place
Unaware of time in the land of forever
There in his Kingdom of Grace
Nobody just the King and I
Oh the pace of living somehow can make
The strongest man grow weak at times
But I'll never give in this race I'm running
Leaves no room for compromise
So I set my course for the path of faith
On my knees I'm ready to pray
It is then and there that I'm caught away
Into the midst of his throne
I know in my heart this is where I belong
REPEAT CHORUS
So I set my course for the path of faith
On my knees I'm ready to pray
It is then and there that I'm caught away
Into the midst of His Throne
I know in my heart this is where I belong
In Christ,
Clayburn.
You Are My King (Amazing Love)
I’m forgiven because You were forsaken
I’m accepted, You were condemned
I’m alive and well, Your Spirit is within me
Because You died and rose again
Amazing love, how can it be
That You, my King, should die for me?
Amazing love, I know it’s true
It’s my joy to honor You
In all I do, to honor You
You are my King
You are my King
Jesus, You are my King
You are my King
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

engish version
, come, friend, let's greet the bride,
the Sabbath Presence bring inside.
"Keep" and "Remember" in a sole command
the solitary G~d did us command
"I AM!" is one, the Name is one,
in name, in splendor, and in praise.
O, come
Toward the Sabbath, come, make haste,
for she has every blessing's taste,
ordained at first, and long ago,
the last thing made, the first in mind.
O, come
O, Sovereign's abode, O, holy, regal town,
rise up, emerge, where once cast down,
enough of sitting in the vale of tears,
G~d pities you, yes you G~d spares.
O, come?
Be stirred, rise up, throw off the dust,
my people, don your clothes of eminence,
by hand of Bethle'mite Jesse's child,
draw near my soul, redeem it, too.
O, come
Arouse yourself, arouse yourself,
your light has come, arise and shine,
awake, awake, pour forth your song,
on you now shines the Glorious One.
O, come
Don't be abashed, don't be ashamed,
why be downcast, why do you sigh?
In you my people's poor find shade,
a city rebuilt where her ruins lay.
O, come
Your robbers shall be robbed themselves,
all your devourers will be removed,
your G~d rejoices at your side,
the joy of a bridegroom with his bride.
O, come
To right and left you shall burst forth,
revering G~d, to south and north,
by hand of one from Peretz's line,
we shall rejoice and find delight.
O, come
O, come in peace, O divine crown,
with joy, rejoicing, and with mirth,
amid the faithful, loved by G~d,
come in, O bride, come in, O bride!
O, come, my friend, let's greet the bride,
the Sabbath Presence bring inside.
Mish'k'no'techa Yisrael.
Va'ani b'rov chas'd'cha avo veitecha,
Eshtachaveh el heichal kod-sh'cha b'yiratecha.
CHORUS
Adonai ahavti m'on beitecha, u'm'kom mishkan k'vodecha
Va'ani eshtachaveh v'echra'a, ev'r'cha lifnei Adonai osi.
CHORUS
Va'ani t'filati l'cha, Adonai eit ratzon.
Elohim, b'rov chasdecha, (aneini be'emet yishecha) (2x)
CHORUS
How lovely are your tenst, O Jacob,
Your dwelling places, O Israel,
In your abundan lovingkindness, O G~d, let me enter Your house,
reverently to worship in Your holy temple.
Adonai, I love Your house, the place where Your glory dwells.
So I would worship with humility, I would seek the blessing in the
presence of G~d, my Maker.
To You, then, Adonai, does my prayer go forth.
May this be a time of joy and favor.
In Your great love, O G~d, answer me with Your saving truth.
I don't know the title =T.T=
How many times have I turned away?
The number is the same
As the sand on the shore
But every time, you've taken me back
And now I pray you'll do it once more.
Please take from me my life,
When I don't have the strength
To give it away to you.
Please take from me my life,
When I don't have the strength
To give it away to you Jesus.
How many times have I turned away?
The number is the same
As the stars in the sky
But every time, you've taken me back
And now I pray you'll do it tonight.
Please take from me my life,
When I don't have the strength
To give it away to you.
Please take from me my life,
When I don't have the strength
To give it away to you Jesus.
If it's already been posted, um whoops. I replied really quick to this one =^.^=
I have so many favourates. It dependes on how I'm feeling inside, but hear are two that I like the most. The first one is "I can only imagine"and this is the other:
Pour my love on you. (Phillips, Craig and Dean)
I dont know how to say exactly how I feel
and I can't begin to tell you what your love has meant,
I'm lost for words
Is there a way to show the passion in my heart?
Can express how truely great I think you are?
Lord, this is my desire, to pour my love on you
Like oil apon your feet,
like wine for you to drink,
like water from my heart,
I'll pour my love on you,
If praise is like perfume
I'll lavish mine on you
'till every drop is gone,
I'll pour my love on you.
(repeat the second verse and the chorus)
Here's mine: Casting Crowns
My Favorite
If We Are The Body
It's crowded in worship today
As she slips in trying to fade into the faces
The girls teasing laughter is carrying farther than they know
Farther than they know
CHORUS
But if we are the body
Why aren't His arms reaching?
Why aren't His hands healing?
Why aren't His words teaching?
And if we are the body
Why aren't His feet going?
Why is His love not showing them there is a way?
There is a way
A traveler is far away from home
He sheds his coat and quietly sinks into the back row
The weight of their judgmental glances
Tells him that his chances are better out on the road
CHORUS
Jesus paid much too high a price
For us to pick and choose who should come
And we are the body of Christ
CHORUS
Jesus is the way
Voice Of Truth
Oh what I would do to have
The kind of faith it takes to climb out of this boat I'm in
On to the crashing waves
To step out of my comfort zone
Into the realm of the unknown where Jesus is
And He's holding out His hand
But the waves are calling out my name and they laugh at me
Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed
The waves they keep on telling me
Time and time again, "Boy, You'll never win!"
"You'll never win!"
But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story
The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid!"
And the Voice of Truth says, "This is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth
Oh what I would do to have
The kind of strength it takes to stand before a giant
With just a sling and a stone
Surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors
Shaking in their armor
Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand
But the giant's calling out my name and he laughs at me
Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed
The giant keeps on telling me
Time and time again, "Boy, You'll never win!"
"You'll never win!"
But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story
The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid!"
And the Voice of Truth says, "This is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth
But the stone was just the right size
To put the giant on the ground
And the waves aren't looking so high
From on top of them lookin' down
I will soar with the wings of eagles
When I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
Singing over me
Repeat Chorus
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth
Who Am I
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my eevr wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours
Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
I am Yours
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
'Cause I am Yours
I am Yours
"If there is no God, one will lose nothing by believing in him. If there is a God, one will lose everything by not believing"
"If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager then without hesitation, that He exists."
