'Worst crisis since WWII'

London - The current crisis rocking the markets and global economy could turn out to be the worst since World War II, former US Federal Reserve chairperson Alan Greenspan said in remarks published on Monday.
"The current financial crisis in the US is likely to be judged in retrospect as the most wrenching since the end of the Second World War," Greenspan said in a Financial Times commentary. "It will end eventually when home prices stabilise, and with them the value of equity in homes supporting troubled mortgage securities," he said, referring to the meltdown in the US subprime home loan market and subsequent massive losses for the banks holding the debt instruments.

The US doesn't have to be destroyed. All we have to do is elect Obama or Clinton. Neither would come to Israel's aid. They'd go to the UN. The UN would draft some resolution about how unhappy they are.

But before Israel is attacked, Iran will invade Iraq after we prematurely pull our troops out, then invades Kuwait, then annexes Syria and Lebanon, forms a military treaty with Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt. Iran essentially sweeps the Middle East much like Hitler did to Europe.

Turkey becomes a fundamental Islamic state, a revolution in Pakistan puts the terrorists in charge giving them The Bomb and tested missiles. Pakistan gives the Bomb to Iran (which is now most of the Middle East).

By then the US economy is in such trouble we won't do a thing because of our dependence on their oil.

Now Israel is surrounded and on it's own.

Or, would you say that all the western democracies support Israel to the same extent as the US? If so, then they will have to be destroyed also.

I do not think,while possible,that the U.S. will be the only ones raptured and i did not mean to infer that the U.S. will be raptured but that it will go through major changes and will not resemble the great dreamed of and intended AMERICA that it was meant to be.
If a north american union does come about after a U.S. downfall it will be to america`s demise it will do away with our constitution,our individual rights,what is left of our nation being a Godly nation based on his laws,our
sovereignty.

I also believe that much of the financial trouble happening and still coming is a formulated deception.

We are definatly heading in that direction of a "one world" belief. Have you heard of the highway in the US, Mexico and Canada? Soon the US, Mexico, and Canada will all mesh together into a one world sort of thing.

I have some privy info from a woman that her sector always leads the economy by about 9 months, and is precise.

She says were in for some deep doo doo. I explored, and she said she's scared.

I can't say more but she was a very business savy woman that made boat loads of money for years and years, she is an expert at what she does and she says the sky is black black black being and understatement.

Well, we certainly wouldn't have a clue as to who this woman is, so I think it's pretty safe to tell us "what sector" she lives in. That way we can all watch and have an idea what to expect.

Fresh US fears send dollar and markets plunging

Stock markets across Europe and Asia plummeted this morning as the dollar slumped to a new 12-year low and fears grew that the US Federal Reserve's surprise $280 billion liquidity bailout will fail to stop a full-blown recession.

Until now I have thought that the European Union (EU) is the Revived Roman Empire.

THE OLD ROMAN EMPIRE (395 AD)

The Roman Empire is the phase of the ancient Roman civilization characterized by an autocratic form of government and large territorial holdings in Europe and the Mediterranean.

As the Western Roman Empire declined during the 5th century, the richer Eastern Roman Empire would be relieved of much destruction, and in the mid 6th century the Eastern Roman Empire (known also as the Byzantine Empire) under the emperor Justinian I reconquered Italy.

THE UPCOMING MEDITERRANEAN UNION (MU) [Dark blue]

The Mediterranean Union, is a proposed community of European Union member states and countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea planned to be established in July 2008.

The MU would consist of all the EU states and those countries on the Mediterranean rim/participating in the Barcelona process. The idea is to form a "bridge" between Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

The Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (or Barcelona Process) started in 1995 with the Barcelona Euro-Mediterranean Conference. It was organized by the European Union to strengthen its relations with the countries in the Mashriq and Maghreb regions.

The European Union enlargement of 2004 brought two Mediterranean countries (Cyprus and Malta) into the Union, while adding a total of 10 to the number of Member States. The Euro-Mediterranean Partnership today comprises 37 members: 27 EU Member States and 10 Mediterranean Partners (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey). Libya has had observer status since 1999.

A comparison of the 395 AD Roman Empire map with the upcoming Mediterranean Union (MU) map, reveals that they are very close to each other.

THE MEDITERRANEAN UNION (MU) IS INDEED THE REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE !!!

According to my research, the End of the End Times started in the Sabbatical Year 1986 / 87.

The next Sabbatical Year is 2014 / 15 and I expect a major Biblical event.

We are blessed to live in the End of the End Times !!!

You're assuming quite alot of things there....

I feel a little bit qualified to talk about this as I'm both a student of EU polictics and policies as well as a student of the Word.

1)Mediterranean Union (MU) is not about a new kind of political union in the sense that the Roman Empire was. - MU is much more to do with the issues of European Border control - something particularly important to Monsieur Sarkozy who is championing MU with all his might. It also bears regard towards economic interests. Additionally, some people regard MU as a bargaining point with Turkey (So that those who are sceptical of Turkish EU membership prospects are appeased.)

2)The Roman Empire was a self-sufficient and highly military power - Yes, it's true to say that Rome wasn't built in a day, and European Union certainly wasn't (more than a few would argue that it remains unbuilt) but with the upcoming MU, you certainly won't want to worry about a Mediterranean Army. It's incredibly unlikely.

I realise that alot of the Mediterannean EU Member States (MSs) are pro-CFSP (Common foreign and security policy) and PJCCM (Police and Judicial Co-operation in Criminal Matters - formerly Justice and Home affairs) but they will certainly not be forming a military union. No western diplomatic or political power would allow this.

3) No-one will directly be able to be an absolute leader of MU. I do not know the ins-and-outs of the leadership structure and policy network, but there will be an system of 'Checks and Balances,' to ensure a complete non-domination situation. This was the complete opposite in Rome. A military leader, or Caesar, was always in power.

4) Don't take biblical commentary from Wikipedia. It's bad for your health or something like that. Even though it is twice as accurate than Encycopaedia Britannica (Source: Wikipedia). (Couldn't resist).

Keep on watching though Roelof. It's all going to happen someday soon! I just don't think this is it. Although I do not know.

I have a question - What happens if nothing happens? People have been claiming they were in the "end of the end times" for over a century now. People claimed Jesus would come back in 1912, 1914, 1918, 1944, 1945, 1948, the 1970's, the 1980's, the 1990's, 2000, 2001, and so on. First it was Russia, then China, then Germany, then Russia again, then China again, then Italy, then China again, then Europe, then the whole world, then Europe again, now you're claiming it's the Mediterranean Union.

I'm not saying "You are wrong," but I am saying that out of the hundreds of people before you who claimed they knew when the end would come, who are you to say you're right when everyone before you was wrong?

In defence of Roelof, it's good to watch for the signs of the times. It's biblical to do so.

However, absolutes probably aren't a good idea either. I just can't wait to see Him crack the sky.

Sorry, I think you missed my whole story.
The area of the coming MU looks very similar to the 395 AD Roman Empire.
I know the government structures differ completely.

I don't know when the Second Coming of Christ will be. I only said that I expect a major Biblical event in 2014/15. If you know the prophesies, you can decide for yourself what it could be.
