    Free website Blockers?

I would like to know if there are any free website blockers out there that I can download for my pc? I want to block some sites, and, don't know of any blockers out there. Thanks for your help.

I dunno what browser you're using but in IE7, you can go to Tools Menu | Internet Options | Security Tab | Restricted sites.
    Then click on sites.

'Not familiar with Vista, but you may have something like Internet Options in your control panel.

You can see waht version of IE you have by going to the Help menu and selecting "about".

If it is version 7, Try the path I gave you before. That is the simplest way.

Here is a link for using parental control.

I want to add to my comment above. Here is data that shows Firefox being safer then I-Explorer:
"An independent study shows that, in 2006, IE users were vulnerable to online threats 78% of the time. Firefox users? Only 2%."

Look at the chart on the right side towards the bottom part of the link above, or look here: “Internet Explorer users Unsafe for 284 Days in 2006”

You can download firefox for free. Having downloaded firefox, you can download a free plugin called LeechBlock. It allows you to block specific sites during specific times. It also allows you to use a password to restrict changes to these settings.
