I thought you were in the USA already, but you are not, as you still have an appointment with the government..... but you have found a place to live....

LOL...let me try to help you understand here. I was in the States for nine days because we needed a marriage license and arrange several practical things such as finding an apartment. So that is what we did...and on Tuesday, I came back, had my medical on Wednesday, and soon I will have my final appointment with the consulate.

Does that make sense now?
