Christain Band and drug usage.

Their is a badn that came into my town called " Before There Was Rosalyn" and put on what would be one of the most genuine Christains perfromances I've seen in the hardocre/metalcore scene. Atlas; one of my friends and almost room mates actually tried to have them stay with me at my apartment [which honestly; i will have bands stay over in my next apartment]. It bothers me though with the whole arguement about "God said use seed baring plants" or whatever.. it makes me sd actually.

Dont mind them, they just try to make excuses for their sinful behaviour.

Yeah, people will pluck verses out of the Bible without even reading into them or the context to justify their actions. Definately should pray for them though that God will speak through the Word to them and help them see their mistake.

Here's a news flash - we are all sinners and in need of grace and prayers. Instead of condemming them, maybe you should try praying for them.

Maybe you could use it as a opportunity to witness to them and show them the truth. As daughter pointed out that He said they were to be food(not our high), also, the Scriptures tell us to be of sound mind...

2Ti 1:7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.



"A sound mind" here in the Greek means self-control, moderation(Strong's G4995).

The Scriptures also say that we are to obey the law of the land(as long as it doesn't break His Laws)... Deuteronomy 17:2; Ecclesiastes 8:2-5; Matthew 22:21; 23:2-3; Romans 13:1-7; Titus 3:1; 1 Peter 2:13-17; 2 Peter 2:9-11 .

We're also instructed not to pollute our temples/bodies(1 Corinthians 3:16-17 ).
