In the KJV Bible Isiah 14:12 calls Lucifer the son of the morning.

Some Biblical scholars say that Lucifer is a forgery by the Catholic church and the Latin Vulgates.

I don't believe the Latin Vulgates are forgeries, but others do. Some say Lucifer should not be in the Bible, others like myself do. Depends if you think the KJV Bible is a forgery or not?

Arrow The Meaning According to Urban Dictionary.

    1. son of the morning

Another name for 'Lucifer' (Latin: literally meaning 'light bearing') has not always been associated with the fallen angel, Satan. Originally, it was simply the Roman name of the planet Venus, the 'morning star' that rose just before the sun. ... In Isaiah 14:12, we find the Hebrew phrase, "HeYLeL BeN-ShaCHaR", meaning 'bright son of the morning/dawn' (i.e. 'bright/glowing morning star'). In the Greek version of the Old Testament (the Septuagint), this was translated as 'Phosphorus' (the Greek name of the morning star), and thence translated 'Lucifer' in the Latin Vulgate bible. Isaiah chapter 14 probably condemns the arrogance of the kings of Babylon who considered themselves glorious as the morning star, yet fell to earth. However, due to a confusion of the passages Isaiah 14:12, Luke 10:18 and Revelation 12:7-10, the name 'Lucifer' became applied to the Devil.
"Lucifer son of the morning, I'm gonna chase you out of
    earth!"
    Max Romeo,'Chase The Devil'

    2. one of the many names of the fallen angel, satan(aka lucifer). many musicians have used this phrase such as Misfits in Speak of the Devil "Some call me the sone of the morning, god knows im the angel of light" and Danzig "Son of the Morning Star
"Some call me the Son of the Morning, God knows im the Angel of Light

    and finally

    3.
This is one of the many names for Satan. In the bible Isaiah 14:12 he says, "How have you fallen from heaven, O alight-bringer and daystar, SON OF THE MORNING!" This name was popularized because of a song called lucifer on the Jay'Z black album used it in the hook.
"Lucifer SON OF THE MORNING, i'm gonna chase you out of earth"
    Jay-Z's "Lucifer"

The great Deceiver and Adversary(Satan) always wants to Masquerade as the true Daystar and Bright Morning Star(Jesus).

In general, the appellation "son of" means something like "characteristic of". So a "son of the morning" is characteristic of the morning in some way.

yeah, the Hebrew to Latin to English translation can be confusing. Here is the English translation of the Greek Septuagint.
Is. 14:12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, who rose up in the morning! He who sends for all the nations is crushed to the earth.

There is a "Lucifer" who was worshiped by the Assyrians, as male at sunrise and female at sunset. The Assyrian name of Lucifer = morning star. ie. light bringer in relation to elements
    A false elemental god.
Guess that is also where the "son" relation came in the translations.

The star which the NT refers to in 2 Peter and Revelation, is The Star that rose out of Jacob (Num. 24:17).
