It was nearly 40 years ago, I was waiting in a shop to get some food for a picnic. I heard a rumble and noticed the few people in the shop suddenly standing in the doorway. Then I noticed everything shake and the floor seemed to ripple. I think I was sitting at a stool at the counter and just hung on, I really didn't know what was going on. Someone standing in the door said it was an earthquake. It was a bit weird.

    Yup.

The last decent quake we had (a 5.3 or so), I was at work, just walking back to work on my machine and it hit. All the lights hanging from the ceiling were swaying pretty good. I also got a good view of my boss running out of the building. We were close to the epicenter.

Well, I never felt earthquake before but through my friend's experience it was scary since her whole family was busy that time and ending up to get down from that apartment to ask what happen to the holiday area...poor her...scare her but thank goodness she and her whole family was saved...from the tsunami...happened in Puket.

I was sleeping in my bed on the second floor of my old house and it felt like someone was at the foot of the bed shaking it violently.

I voted sleeping, guess I wasn't after that. HAHA

I live in upstate NY so we never get them. Well, we do...but maybe once in a great while. I have not felt an earthquake except for one or two times. I remember the first one, it was a huuuuge earthquake in another state and it traveled to NY and whatnot. I remember being on my bed and it was just a little shake. It was weird!

I've been awakened by eartquakes, felt them while driving, while working, while in class and while watching TV at home.
You were made to think. It will do you good to think; to develop your powers by study. God designed that religion should require thought, intense thought, and should thoroughly develop our powers of thought.
