1 Corinthians 15:3-4

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures

Which portions of Scripture did the apostle have in mind when he wrote this?

For being raised on the third day, maybe this one:

Hosea 6:1-2 -

1 "Come, let us return to the LORD.
He has torn us to pieces
but he will heal us;
he has injured us
but he will bind up our wounds.

2 After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will restore us,
that we may live in his presence.

That's the most likely candidate I could find after doing a search throughout the Old Testament for "third day".

I'm sure there are lots of Scriptures Paul has in mind.
These may include things like Psalm 110, or Isaiah 52, or the passover narrative, or Psalm 22. However one good candidate Scripture would be the book of Jonah. Jesus refers repeatedly to the "sign of Jonah" as referring to Himself.
