My mom is one of four, daughter of a single mother. When I was fourteen (seven years ago) my grandmother died. Shortly after that my uncle, the youngest of the four (whom we call Peanut), disappeared. He had a girlfriend and two kids and went AWOL. My mom gave him money to help with his bills, but he took the money and left. We had heard rumors that he was in Florida or California, but we had no idea where he was. Seven years and no word, not a clue! Nothing!
I've been praying, "God bring him home! Keep him safe!" It's so hard not knowing if he's okay or if he's alive! We'd be in Wal-Mart or Target and see the back of somebody's head and freak out thinking it was him. He was on drugs, alcohol, it was hard to look at him sometimes! So knowing how he was when he left made the anxiety so much worse. That anxiety has been put to rest! I don't have to worry anymore!
I finished my shift today at 3 and I went to check my phone while my manager counted down my drawer. I saw my mom had sent me a text message that said, "We found uncle peanut". I don't think I breathed! My mouth dropped! I called her and she tells me that my aunt, her sister, found him on Facebook. Some of her co-workers had talked her into setting up an account, so yesterday, while she was passing the time, she typed in his name not expecting anything, and there he was. My mom gave me his number and I talked to my Uncle Peanut for the first in seven years.
He's alive! He's saved! And he's clean! My aunt's arranging for him to come and visit in January! I get to see his face! He's in California, 3000 miles away and it's okay because he's alive and I KNOW IT!
There is a God and the evidence is in has survived drugs and smiles.

For God so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish, but have eternal life.
