There's a knock upon your door
Though you cannot hear it well
It's not the usual visitor
But someone who has life to sell
He's very patient, very kind
He wants to come and live with you
So you can change your destination
Live a life that's pure and true.


Jesus waits for your response
He doesn't force Himself on you
You have the option to decline
But really you'd be silly to
Is there anything you lack
Are you happy in your jar
He can be the final piece
Of the jigsaw that you are.
