no fair. number 6 isn't a question.
1. what color are the shoes you wear most often?
I say they're green, but I've been told their brown.
2. favorite christian band?
either Mewithoutyou or the Psalters.
3. favorite nonchristian band?
Elliott Smith, I think. Used to be the Smashing Pumpkins
4. the movie you could watch repeatedly forever and ever?
Used to be Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but I discovered the joys of Alien Vs. Predator. Plotless movies seem to be my thing.
5. topic you're passionate about?
I don't know. I'll have to come back to that one.
6. about myself-
I'm a 22 year old missionary kid from Papua New Guinea. I'm in a pretty rough transitional phase right now; I am currently jobless, but aiming to join Teach For America.

2. i'd hafta say Stryper..... Bloodgood might tie them tho
3. Depends on my mood. I listen to a lot of different music. Right now I've been to KISS a lot.
4. I get more like this about TV shows. I go through phases. Star Trek this week. Twilight Zone next week. Odd Couple week after that. The movie i'd say is Iron Man. Love that flick!
5. MUSIC! i always have music on. I am a youtube addict. I play guitar and I can't wait to switch to day shift at work so I can play more often. I hope I'm not getting too rusty....

Favorite book in the bible? I have no idea. Ephesians was rough for me to get through for some reason I can't remember. 1 john was good, but there was a lot in it that perplexed me.
topic I'm passionate about: philosophy. I've really dropped back in studying it, but if I ever hear anyone talking about it, I completely zone in on them and can't break away.
Are you male or female Dust n ashes? Just wanted to know so I can think of a proper nickname.

haha. In a sense I'm pretty androgynous. Even my name is unisex. But I'm a girl, if that helps anything.
whatever floats your boat.
1. what color are the shoes you wear most often? ~ black.
2. favorite christian band? ~ Jars of Clay.
3. favorite nonchristian band? ~ Leahy.
4. the movie you could watch repeatedly forever and ever? ~ Patch Adams is one of a few, but in the top few.
5. topic you're passionate about? ~ public education in my province for kids!
6. you're own question to ask and answer?
My question: What's your favourite book, ASIDE from the Bible?
My answer (In Dust and Ashes, feel free to answer as well) is "A Little Princess" by Frances Hodgeson Burnett, with "The Secret World of Og" coming a close second by Pierre Berton. People think that's funny because both are kids' books, but I love them for their beauty, occasional joy, humour and imagination, so there you have it.

ROMANS 5:8. Forgiven. Freed. Humbled. Amazed. Grateful. Relying on Christ.
Love is not a place to come and go as we please
It's a house we enter in, then commit to never leave
So lock the door behind you, and throw away the key
We'll work it out together, let it bring us to our knees.....

The Little Prince is definitely good and caries a lot of thought for adults.
I have lots of favorite books. The top of my list would be:
Everything Is Illuminated by Johnathan Safran Foer
The Boy Detective Fails by Joe Meno
Searching for God Knows What by Donald Miller
The fourth Bear by Jasper Fforde
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
