    Help with Leviticus 11:41-43

The reason I'm having trouble with this verse is that lambs and bulls are some of the animals that are often used in sacrifices to God (Including sacrifices that the Lord commanded).

Does this mean God accepted the sacrifices of unclean animals? This does not sound right. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Do you mean the four legs part?

I think of a lizard that has four feet but it's belly is still on the ground, not a four footed creature with it's belly off the ground like a lamb.

    Peace,
    Joe

Thanks Walstib - I think it had to do with my translation.

NIV says 'moves about on the ground' whereas other translations use the word 'creep or scurry' which are more related to insects and lizards.

    Makes sense now. Thanks!
