Was just curious if anyone is on Facebook? I finally joined it myself to stay in touch with family and friends. It's been a great tool for just that, I have to say

Yup! There's actually a group on there called "Bibleforums Junkies," which you are more than welcome to join if you'd like! I enjoy the site, too. It's been great to reconnect with childhood friends and keep in touch with college friends.

What I don't get thus far is I'm getting snowball fight requests. green patch requests, and what's the poke option mean?

yeah, theres a lot of applications that can be great fun when you use them to interact with others, but also rather annoying. The requests to join fights and greenpatch and whatnot are like mini games that you play by yourself or with others. I think greenpatch is just a little place for you to grow virtual flowers. Poke is fun. it just sends a message to whoever you're poking to let them know they've been poked. I get in poke wars with my friends that never end...Theres also applications to enhance poke so that you can do other things besides poke them.

facebook is definitely good for that

Especially when your friends have it linked up to their cellphones so that every time you poke them, their cellphone goes off.

Hello... I'm new to the bible forum (like yesterday) but I was just looking at some of the postings. I noticed that you mention face book has a bibleforum junkies. I just wondered if you could tell me how to find this group. My daughter told me about face book and I joined it last week but am rather uncertain (actually a little apprehensive) as to how it works. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
