Seeing Jesus Christ Is The Only Way To See God

John 14:6 is engraved on the mantel in my churches gathering space. Since it's beginning, my Church has sent this message all over the world: Truth is a Person! Jesus life and words are truth, yes, but Truth became flesh and walked among us. We cannot possess salvation without Jesus Christ. He is life, and without Him there is no life. C.S. Lewis wrote: "You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of god or else a madman or something worse. You can spit at Him and kill Him, or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. but, let us not come with any nonsense about Him being just a good human teacher. he has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."

FOR TODAY: If I want to know God, I must come through His Son into His presence.

That is so true.
And the wonder of our faith is widenened as we consider the full efficacy of our atonement.
Romans 1:20 tell us that those who never hear the Gospel message may find acceptability with God if, having seen the unavoidable message of creation, they worship their perception of a Creator rather than worshipping created things. In such an instance the atonement is efficacious, meaning that acceptance is indeed 'through Christ', even though the beneficiary would never have heard about him.

"How great is the God we adore,

His love is as great as his power,
And knows neither measure nor end"
