The things I never knew I wanted, You provide
The things I only thought I needed, You decide
How could I get through this life, without You as my guide?
How do we go anywhere without You by our side?
Because I've asked and I've seeked and knocked
And searched and received, repented and grieved
And I've prayed, "O LORD help me to delay,
the temptation and the trial that awaits me"
But then You take me by the hand
and help me understand what it is to have faith and simply believe.
Hallelujah I will ask and keep asking
Hallelujah I will seek and keep seeking
Hallelujah I will knock and the door will be open wide.
Cuz I believe, Amen and hallelujah!
You will provide!
When I am down, begging on my knees
Pleading with You "Tell me what You want from me!!"
I forget that all You need is a mustard seed.
So why do I worry? I'm not in control today.
All there is to do is to leave it up to you.
Just pray to get me through, and You always do in every single way
