Thread: Dinosaurs

    Dinosaurs

What is the biblical evidence for dinosaurs? also maybe any extrabiblical early Jewish/ancient literature?

Did God create dinosaurs in the time of Adam and Eve? hard to imagine a t-rex eating grass lol

That IS kinda hard to imagine.
There is of course the leviathon, behemoth thing the descriptions of which suggest dino like attributes.
It is my understanding that all reptiles continue to grow their entire lifetimes. Genesis suggests that life expectancy was much greater prior to the flood.
If an aligator, for instance, was to live for 1500 years, how big would it get? Or a comoto dragon?

Dinos lived long before the time of the Bible.

Some say that 'dragons' are Dino's is scripture.

It is also said that, there are certain reptiles (like Crocks) that never stop growing. If in the beginning, man lived to very old age, then perhaps also every other living creature. That would allow for these such reptiles to grow to huge sizes.

So, we measure the truth of word of God against science?

I believe that they came about after the demonic indwelling of all life prior to the flood. This mixture created aborrations which were the dinos. God killed all life including them by the flood.

Nowhere did I imply such a thing. I'm simply accepting what the book of nature, the nature that God created, tells us. And if it doesn't contradict something in the Word of God, then I see no reason not to believe it.

If Dinos died before the fall, doesn't that contradict the Word of God?

Sin came by Adam, and death by sin. If there was death before Adam, then there must have been sin in the world before Adam.

It says death spread to all men, no mention of animals.

That does not answer the question did dinosaurs live at the same time as Adam? The Answer is yes, dinosaurs were created the same day as every other land animal.
