    Your desktop

    Let's have some computery fun and show off our desktops. Maybe people will see other people running cool stuff, and we can share ideas. Yaaay.

    Now, behold my vastly superior desktop.*

    *Superior to your computer, too.

    Rejoicing for mama in Heaven although she's sorely missed but being changed by Daddy while talking to Him in dreams, while he showers me with blessings afterwards

    My laptop isn't as superior as yours..... I have just a simple image of a mama Lemur with her baby on it...... don't know how to post it here.......

    Love you,
    Mieke
    So come on, let Me dream, let Me dream for you
    I am strong when you're weak and I'll carry you
    So let go of your plan, be caught by My hand
    I'll show you what I can do
    When I dream for you
    I have a dream for you

    My desktop always has a picture of my daughter, and usually a very girly color. I love it. This one's from Easter.

    I like yours markedward.

    My husband is a big Homestar Runner fan, btw.

    I just cleaned up my desktop icons so I could take this screenshot. Believe me, I did in fact clean it up.

    The minstrel boy to the war is gone,
    In the ranks of death ye will find him;
    His father's sword he hath girded on,
    And his wild harp slung behind him;
    "Land of Song!" said the warrior bard,
    "Tho' all the world betray thee,
    One sword, at least, thy rights shall guard,
    One faithful harp shall praise thee!

    The image on my desktop is highly confidential that requires Level 3 military clearance only obtainable from God Himself dispatched by his archangel in a coded message found in John 3:16

    Not a snapshot, but here is the picture...it's called The Reference Rainbow and it connects every cross reference in The Bible. Each color has some significance as well but I don't remember what they are. You can Google it for all the details if you want to, pretty amazing.

    Without Jesus, the world would be naught.

    John 1:1-5
    1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

    I looked for a larger picture of this - would you happen to have it?

    Some of those icons are for my son and his games or pictures or whatnot...we share a computer. The background is from National Geographic 'Aurora over northern Canada'.
    "People do not drift toward holiness. Apart from grace-driven effort, people do not gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord. We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance; We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom; We drift toward superstition and call it faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation; we slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism; we slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated?" - D A Carson
