Fellowshipping with Christ after the rapture

I just want to make a statament here and get some input on it...Something I've been thinking about for a while.

I really hope that my arrival in heaven is through death rather than the rapture, because if I am raptured at the same time with many millions of Christians, how in the world will I get any one-on-one fellowship with Jesus Christ?!

This is one thing that sort of depresses me about the rapture. I think of all those people entering heaven at the same time...You know that everyone will want to see Jesus and talk with Him, so then, how am I supposed to get all of the alone time with Him that I desire?

Will Jesus be conversing one-on-one with everyone at once? That doesn't seem logical. So, then, the beautiful time of one-on-one fellowship that I enjoy with Him now -- will there be any chance of that in heaven?

You will be part of Christ. Do you believe that your GOD cannot talk to everybody at once?
    Think Big Welder.

We will be with God and a part of God. Our questions will be answered and we will be so swept up with his magnificence, that we will be awestruck and will worship. I don't know that we will even think about anything else?

First of all you need to read Rev. 21. There you will see that our eternal home is not Heaven but the New Earth that God is going to create after He destroys this one. Secondly we cannot judge God by human logic. While I don't recall any verse that says we will have "alone time" with Jesus in Eternity as you have been told He is perfectly capable of talking to all of us privately at the same time. As for the "rapture" don't sweat it. I isn't going to happen the way it is commonly taught. Relax, God has everything under control.

    Interesting...

Definitely think you are limiting your thoughts to human limitations here, we will be like Him, we will know as we are known. Paul said in II Cor. 12 he couldn't put it into human terms. I can't wait for the Rapture, any day now IMO, even so Maranatha, come quickly LORD Jesus!

So, then, you're saying that Jesus will be talking to everybody at once?

I don't know -- maybe I'm thinking on the wrong plane. When I see pictures of my beloved Jesus Christ hugging someone in the celestial realm, or of Him lovingly welcoming him into heaven, it brings such wonderful thoughts to mind, but then I think about the rapture, and I know that's not how it's going to happen.

I know that day will be wonderful, but it also saddens me a bit -- to think that I'm just going to be another face in the crowd. All I really care about is felloshipping with the Lord. It just saddens me that it's not going to happen that way.

Oh, I know all of that. I am talking about when we are initially raptured.

Secondly we cannot judge God by human logic.
    You've got a point there.

    Yes...neither do I (sigh)

as you have been told He is perfectly capable of talking to all of us privately at the same time. As for the "rapture" don't sweat it. I isn't going to happen the way it is commonly taught. Relax, God has everything under control.
Then, how is it going to happen?

One thing I consider is that Jesus marries His Church - One Church.
In that Church there are xxmillions of Christians (I don't know).

But how many Brides? So I consider Jesus sees me as ONE. I don't know if that helps?

Another thing, I once had a 'dream' - I do NOT know if it's true (don't assume) but I'll tell you what I saw:

I imagined myself at the marriage supper and it was just Jesus and the Apostles. I didn't imagine other people there. I don't know if that's right or wrong but that's what I dreamt. I told a Christian friend and he said it's very possible.

    CL
    Matthew 27:55
And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him.

Not meaning to sound rude, but I dont care how it happens. Rapture, Death...I just want to be in the presence of The Lord! What a day that will be! My life here may have ended but my eternal life has just begun. What a marvelous day it will be to fall at His feet and glorify Him!
Sorry, got carried away! I just get so excited thinking about it.

Just a reminder to stick to the OP and remember: this is a non-debate forum. Any posts that steers the thread in a debating direction will be deleted. If you want to discuss when and how the rapture happens, start a thread in End-Times Chat.
Who have I in heaven but You oh God? Besides You, I desire nothing here on earth. My heart and my flesh may fail me, but God will be the strength of my heart and my portion forever...as for me, the nearness of God is my good - Psalm 73:25-26, 28a

Maybe time doesn't work quite the same up there. "Everyone at once" might mean something different if the time-continuum isn't the same.

In Heaven, time is endless. There is no time. There is also no impatience.
We will all get to see God face to face some day.
