2nd brain surgery tomorrow

Please pray for Xavier. He is 12 and will have his second surgery tomorrow to try to find where his seizures are coming from so they can remove the part of his brain that is causing the seizures. This is a very invasive surgery and they will implant a grid into his brain to map the seizures for 5 days during which time he will be highly succeptible to infection. Please pray that they find the area that is causing the seizures and that they are able to remove it and that he will have no more seizures after this. Thank you.

Already praying again for this child! How sad.
And praying for the family of Xavier, too, because they must be dreading the surgery, and yet anxious to get to the bottom of things.

I know that God can and does work in situations like this, but I know we often don't see how. I would love to hear that things work out much better than expected (which is what I am praying for). I pray that God is guiding the doctors hands.

We prayed with him and his family before the surgery this morning.
Here is the update I got recently:

Xavier's surgery has finished and he is currently resting.
The surgeon said that the operation was very successful.
But there is some minor bleeding, needing to be taken care of. His mother also testified to the surgeon that we have been praying for this surgery. The surgeon said that this made a big differenrce. ... Thank you very much for all your prayers.

He now has a grid in his brain monitoring his seizures for 5 days during which time he is highly succeptible to infection.
Please continue praying for him.

This is a good-to-hear update! But I will keep praying. We sure don't want
ANY infections in his head. Poor little kid....

Thanks for the update. Xavier will remain in my prayers regarding protection against infection and that the grid does it's job and the doctors discover exactly what to do to permit this child to have a "regular" life.

Father god, we pray for assurance. we pray for the recovery of this little boy. We pray that you have guided the surgeon's hands and now he is resting. I pray that he will fully recover and will go on to live a long life full of joy in you and bearing much fruit.

No infection, LORD! His little life hangs in the balance with YOU being the only one who can pull him through...make him whole, Lord, that he and his family may glorify YOU!!!! Embrace and comfort and strengthen his family who, other than YOU, are his life line. I thank YOU, Father for being so faithful in hearing and answering our prayers. I pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen

Blow into his nostrils, Father God and give him a whole new life, whole and healed!!
