I love this one from the Gospel of Luke..which says so much.

"The power of the Lord was present to heal." (Luke 5:17)

Blessed be the God who hears our prayers and heals.

"Let them give thanks to the Lord for His faithful love..." (Psalm 107:8a)

The Lord recently gave me this one as I was witnessing to my friend Suzanne and impatiently waiting for the Gospel to have some effect.

"Those who sow in tears
Shall reap in joy.
He who continually goes forth weeping,
Bearing seed for sowing,
Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
Bringing his sheaves with him." Ps. 126:5-6

The word 'doubtless' stood out for me. And as I was still thinking about her a few days later He gave me this:

"The LORD will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands." Ps. 138:8

Praise His blessed Name!

I started this thread in May of 2009..but am back now and continuing..Hope you'll share a good news scripture especially during this blessed season.

Here is mine:

Micah 5:2

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.

And, indeed, it came to pass!!!
