My 14 year old niece was raped last week

Oh boy, this kind of news just knocks the wind right out of me. Cannot express in words how sorry I am to hear this. Prayers and prayers and prayers for everyone involved.

May she someday find peace in this world.

I'm so sorry that this happened, and praying for your niece. Bad enough that the man would rape his daughter's best friend, but to attack a kid with special needs is just so despicably low.

I pray for the friend too, who must be in a state of real confusion over this whole thing, and also for justice to be done, and swiftly, so that your niece can feel safe again.

When I was eighteen I had a similar experience (though the assailant was my age) and everyone took his side. Nobody would believe he'd do such a thing, so I got smeared as a Jezebel. I'll pray against that too.

Dear Lord, bless these girls, especially the victim... I pray that she knows this wasn't her fault, I pray that it doesn't poison her attitude to men later in life. I pray that her friend is not persuaded to turn against her, I pray that the rumour mill doesn't start up, that nobody bears false witness against this girl.

Also, Lord, send your comfort and your peace to all those caught up in this ugly situation. Lord, may you bring good out of evil, beauty for ashes, and shelter your daughter under the shadow of your wings.

...my mind cannot even grasp the thought of something as horrifying as this happening...though I know it does...my family and I will be in prayer for you and your family...and the friend who must be devastated, too...I will pray for strength for you to handle the anger and pain...and for comfort and strength for your niece..and that this will not cause her to be promiscuous as you asked..

Dear Loard we ask that you be with this child of yours. WE ask that you pore out your healing on her wounds and bring her and her family close to you . I pray that this event brings her closer to you and that it does not lead to acting out later in her life.

Yes, they did a full rape kit on my niece and recovered DNA. The results aren't back yet but there is little doubt as to who it belongs to. She was a virgin before this incident.

Is there any evidence that the friend's father has abused the friend?
What a dreadful thing for the child to have an abusive father.
And may the Lord save the abusive man and turn his heart to repentance.

You didn't say if he was arrested. This is a sticky situation in several ways. Is it right to pray that she doesn't get pregnant? I don't know.

Father i know that You cause all things to work together for the good of them that love you, even thou we may not understand at the moment, you are in control of everything. You told us also to pray for our enemies and those who abuse us and we should not pay evil for evil. Father these things don't make any sense to our flesh, but in faith, we ask You to give us the grace to forgive those who have transgressed against us just like your son did to his murderers. Father i ask you that in Jesus' Name you will renew this girl's mind and block her mind from remembering the past. You have said, 'forget ye the former things and do not dwell on the past, see i am doing a new thing'. fulfill this word in her life and rebuke the devourer's lies and works from her life. Keep her from sexual promiscuity in The Name of Jesus and cover her with His blood from now on from any enemies of her soul in Jesus' Name. Give not only her, but the whole family grace to overcome this trying period in Jesus' Name.

I am praying for all involved in this and that the Lord comforts her and holds her close to Him...and I am praying those around her are lead in Spirit to do and say the right things that will help her in dealing with this and eventually healing from it...
