Cats? Who cares about cats? I'd rather talk about coffee.
1Jn 4:1 NKJV Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

1Th 5:21-22 NKJV Test all things; hold fast what is good. (22) Abstain from every form of evil.

Oh - and so there IS a segue of sorts...

My cats smell the morning coffee and know it's time to eat.

We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance; We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom; We drift toward superstition and call it faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation; we slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism; we slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated?" - D A Carson

I don't dream about coffee, but I'm known at church as the coffee maestro.

Just this week I had 15kg of green coffee beans delivered, to restock my supply.

Coffee is for wimps. Mt Dew Rocks!

Speaking of mountains, did you know that I have fallen off of two, count them two, mountains while rock climbing and lived to tell about it?

Speaking of climbing mountains, I wonder if Moses' arms got tired when he was climbing back down with the ten commandments?

Which leads me to the question, are we still supposed to follow the ten commandments?

I've been thinking recently that the Kingdom of God is a lot like a fungus.

Well, except that fungi are heterotrophic...

Maybe the Kingdom of God is like a lichen? A symbiosis of a heterotrophic fungus and an autotrophic alga....

Gee you are a really bad topic changer aren't you? You changed topics three times in one post...

Oh yea and on the rock climbing, they just showed a guy falling 100 feet while rock climbing and only got a few scratches...was that you?

Sigh. Another attempt at serious theological discussion thwarted by imbeciles.

I thought it takes two to Tango?
It is only the cynic who claims “to speak the truth” at all times and in all places to all men in the same way, but who, in fact, displays nothing but a lifeless image of the truth… He dons the halo of the fanatical devotee of truth who can make no allowance for human weaknesses; but, in fact, he is destroying the living truth between men. He wounds shame, desecrates mystery, breaks confidence, betrays the community in which he lives, and laughs arrogantly at the devastation he has wrought and at the human weakness which “cannot bear the truth”. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, in Ethics.

That's what they say, but I can't find any biblical basis for it.
