Thank you all for your support! The funeral will be held Friday morning.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend because we would have to travel from NY to VA and we have neither the money to do that nor do I have the time to spare at work to get it off.... No one has said it out loud but the determination of the autopsy is that the gun shot wound was self inflicted.... In addition alot of us are worried that she became a victim of her brother..... He came to live with my family and was sent home the first time for hiring hookers and the second time because we caught him peeking through the bathroom door at my sister showering when she was 11. My father tried to tell the family that he has issues but they brushed it under the rug. We are all worried about it though....

I'm sorry for your loss. It is never easy to hear when something like this takes place, but we serve a mightly God. He is the same yesterday, today and always. This happened because of sin in the world and wrong choices made. God knew this would happen and we cannot even begin to understand all of the 'whys'. But He has an answer...Himself! I pray that you and your loved ones will allow the unconditional love of a merciful God to comfort you at this time. May the uncomprehensible peace of God be with you and your loved one.
