Embarassing... but need prayer...

So... the other day... I ummm... fell out of a chair. I know that takes some talent, but I did. I guess I should listen to the advice I give my students: Keep all 6 feet on the ground! Anyways, at the time it really didn't hurt that bad, but now my leg is bruising really badly. Nothing was broken or fractured or sprained or the like and there is no pain, but as bad as it looks I am worried about blood clots. It is HUGE and looks terrible. I am leaving on Friday to go out of the country and the health care where I am going is not necessarily the greatest if things were to go wrong... it's a small island in the middle of nowhere...

Anyways, will you guys and gals please pray that my leg heals quickly and no problems will arise from this?

Aww, I am sorry to hear about that! And don't be embarassed, I've done it too, before. Lots of people have. I am praying for you to heal up quickly, feel well soon, and for there to be no complications at all while you travel!

u can get one of those bruise/sprain pads from Walgreen's they work I had to get one after I was slammed in the back with a baseball and then uuhm Im not sure how to spell it epson salt bath if i spelled it right and I will pray that u get better from this oucho-o

You betcha! Oddly enough I slammed my leg in a truck door three weeks ago and I can actually feel a huge lump under the skin, so I understand your concern. I am going to the doctor tomorrow for it.

See, now I am sure you don't feel as embarrassed about falling out of a chair. I slammed my leg in my truck door WHILE I WAS GETTING OUT OF THE TRUCK.

Try that one sometime. It takes considerable talent to pull that one off.

Praying that you will be led to the right medical and/or alternative health helps for the problem and that there is no complication. Also praying for your trip to be good and safe. (Hope you don't mind my mentioning it, but some people do recommend taking colloidal silver for trips abroad to protect from intestinal bugs and so on.)

Don't feel bad, one time there was a board loose on our wooden back porch and I put it back in..not nailing in it and then walked on it.. It flip over and my shin went through the porch hitting it hard on the way down. I hurt so much I just laid on the porch for a bit. Scared the daylights out of my son and he wanted to call 911 cause I just laid there not talking. I hurt too much to talk! Finally I got up and limped inside and put a bag of ice on it. It was bruised for months! But what a stupid thing for me to do in the first place...

I'm a little concerned about why you fell from your chair though?
Were you standing on it, or did you black out?

WE worked with a man who simply fell from his chair, and was not going to pay any attention to that, but the secretary was concerned and called the ambulance, and while going into the hospital his heart stopped twice...... He needed a pace maker and is ok now......thats why I'm concerned about how you fell.?

Will pray about that too.

Nothing like that.... I was just clumsy... standing on it and not be careful enough. It was a short chair (kid's size at school)... i just didn't step right getting off and went through the little hole in the back. Replaying it in my mind, it is now actually quite funny to see it happening.
