Praising today!

The Lord has answered my prayer in a big way... even found out tonight that some in the church I attend have been lifting me in prayer as the Holy Spirit moved and prompted them to pray for me. As the pastor called me on Thursday to ask if I can come in Friday night to talk, the Lord has been ministering to him for 2 weeks what to look for and how to approach me. I received all he had to say as it can only be from the Lord!

The light is now shining on the cause of pain. I was hearing the Lord but not listening

. So He used my pastor to speak.

So now, as the Lord places this on the table before me to see it... I begin to close this door!

I can't, NOT listen any longer!!

I praise my Father, for His very presence. Even when I was in my coccoon of depression, He was there, and has in time delivered me and I am emerging with new vigor and purpose!

His promises are sure:

Psalm 13:3
Turn and answer me, O Lord my God!
Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die.

Two of my friends this week told me on separate occasions that the light in my eyes has returned. Another woman who I met just this week and who just became a Christian this past June thanked the Lord for me and for the light she sees in my eyes.

THAT was confirmation enough for me, that my healing is complete! I will ever praise my God for His personal affection for me, and for all His dear ones, my sisters and brothers!

Praise Him for quickly answering my prayers, for opening my eyes..., for continuing His long term work in me and stopping to fix the small things along the way, for leading me..., thank you Lord for being who you are!<3

The Lord continues to work in me! Last night after our Wednesday night Booster Service I came home and went to Youtube to find some worship music to listen to... well, the Lord had a message for me instead.

Todd Agnew's new album is about to come out and on it is a new song that is called: Did You Mean Me?

He explains the meaning and how he was at that point in his life when the Lord gave him the song to write. His words ministered to me cause I have felt the same way and as the Lord works, He shows me I'm not the only one who He works in

One of the reasons this ministered to me is because the words he uses are... me.

Well, it's been awhile and despite the trial... I both see and experience the Lord working through me and through friends, and even through people I just met as the Lord sent me over 900 miles from my home to experience learning, growth, and edification in stuff He ministered to me and I got to see being birthed.

All I can do is be silent, let the Lord work and praise Him

I'll tell you what... out in the wilderness there are many distractions and all of them have to be captured and put under foot. All the thoughts the enemy puts in our head as we argue and frustrate in our own minds while we plunge ahead in the wild...

2 Cor 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Capture them, and Praise the Lord, Worship the Lord, Pray to the Lord each day as you walk in the wild

Hold onto what the Lord is teaching and mature in Christ

OK... a few moments after making the post above the Lord let me know in a very LOUD way that He's still covering me concerning my participation with the worship team.

edit: If anyone has me tagged in Facebook can see what was posted by a friend from my church... I saw it after posting my praise above! The Lord speaks in so many ways and reassures us that we are in His hand and He is in control... even when all seems to be beating us down.

AMEN... when I first saw that vid I busted down in tears when Todd spoke those words!

Slug1, thank you for sharing Todd Agnew's song with us. Thank you for being so open and honest. I appreciate you and everyone here at the Boards for opening their hearts to one and all. Since finding this forum, I've been challenged to look at my walk with the Lord. I praise Him daily for everyone here and make it a faithful part of my prayer time with Him to pray for one and all.
