I went to the barber today,first time in 25 years. I can't remember if I ever had my neck and ears shaved around with a straight razor.I've often thought about shaving with one,but I'd be afraid I would slit my throat.But now that winter is coming I'm thinking about growing my beard out.I've used saftey razors.But none is more barbaric than thos Bic single edge disposable razors.Those things cut me like a Christmas turkey! Have you all ever shaved with a straight razor?

My barber does my neck with a straight razor, but that's it. I don't trust myself around my own neck with one of those, that's for sure!

While in the Army I went to one barber when I was a Drill Sergeant. He shaved the sides of my head with the straight razor.
