    What's your favorite western?

    I like westerns and have seen a million of them,or so it seems like. I used to like Clint Eastwood's spaggetti westerns because in my mind(at the time) I veiwed as the real rest.I like westrned that capture my imagination of how the old west really was.Of all the westerns I watched,I find two John Wayne movies to be my favorite.One is called "The Searchers" and the other one is "The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance". The latter catches my imagination of how the west was more than any of them. What's yours?

    Unforgiven, then Pale Rider are mine and since I have just about all of his speghetti westerns, I like them also... not favs, but I like them.

    Although the setting is Australia I like Quigley Down Under. I like the Clint Eastwood westerns as well, I have most of them on DVD.
    Hell....the nightmare you can't wake up from.

    True Grit or Lonesome Dove one had the Duke and both had Duvall and technically it is not a western I'd have to give The Man from Snowy River an honorable mention.Actually if it is a western I'll probably watch it except for Bronson movies,I know a lot of people like his movies but I just don't.

    Probably "Quigley Down Under" for me too (although "Blazing Saddles" is a close second).

    Anything from the Duke and one favorite western is were he plays singing sandy, very early western of his. Another is the Six Shooter with Jimmy Stewart

    The Magnificent Seven for sure

    Mainly because my dad and I always used to watch this when I was younger. Had some pretty good fight scenes too.
