    the Coptic Catholic Church

From what I understand, a large proportion of Copts are NOT Catholic.

But I've heard of the Coptic Catholic Church. From what I've heard, it's technically part of the Roman Catholic Church (a "particular church").

From what I've read, it sounds like many of it's members are in Egypt (as are a large proportion of the Copts in general are).

Anyone on here know anything else about the Coptic Catholic Church?

There's a short wiki entry which may answer a few of your questions.

From what I understand, the Copts are descended from the ancient Egyptians, who weren't Arabs. Thus, the Copts aren't Arabs, either.

You're right about them being a "particular church". They're one rite in union with the RCC. But most Copts are part of the Coptic Church (also known as the Coptic Orthodox Church), and are not in union with Rome. The Coptic Catholic Church are a group of Copts who were prosyletized by Rome, but kept their Coptic rite.

From what I understand Copts are descended from the Ancient Egyptians and Coptic is descended from Ancient Egyptian (the language).

Logically, the original Egyptians and the newer Arabs would have interbred some, too.
