Prayers for Jack...

Your prayers are appreciated for brother Jack, a long-time, very dependable, spice-of-life worker in the mission field, who has evidently suffered a series of strokes, including one today, which has left him pretty incoherent and disconcerted. He is not doing well at all.

He may be released from the hospital under watchful care, but that doesn't seem likely at this point.

Thanks much for all of your prayers. It appears brother Jack has cancerous lesions in his brain, and they suspect his whole body has succomed.

Jack is around 69yrs and has been a faithful worker for the LORD. He does not appear to be in any pain, but is severely disconcerted and confused.

Jack in his younger years worked for the carnival in the summer and rode a bicycle down the entire west coast to be involved in mission work during the winter mos.

Your prayers are appreciated by his two sisters and one brother.

To update: they will attempt to remove a large growth from Jack's brain on Monday, then proceed with radiation treatment. Not a good prognosis, at all.

Oh what a blessing to know that one who has passed has gone to be with the Lord.

Also to know that one's ministry does not necessarily end at that point. I do join you in praying for the family, and all who know or hear of this. May the Lord continue to be glorified by this mans life.
