Robber repents in the middle of robbery - video

Man, my heart goes out to this young man. He repented! I am praying that God has mercy on him. Also, I hope that he doesn't get the full brunt of the law because he did stop part way though he took 20 bucks. In his blindness, he didn't know what else to do. But when his eyes were opened, he stopped. The power of prayer is still real.

"May the Lamb that was slain receive the just reward for His sufferings." A quote by Moravian missionary that sold himself (along with a friend) into slavery to reach those that the slave owner prevented from hearing the gospel.

May I live for Him and not for me.

    Awesome, Brother Mark.
Thanks so much for posting this.
And this is why we are to go into the prisons and reach out to the homeless and the prostitutes, etc. We have something they so desperately need. Hope, strength, healing, and promise of a future spent in His presence.

    1 Peter 3:
15But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.

This woman was prepared. And she was willing, even through her fear, to share her beliefs.

Our God is amazing and awesome in His power to save. He is not limited by any circumstance, and can save anyone he chooses, wherever they might be, whatever circumstance they may be in.

    In Christ,
    Jen

see...all he wanted to do was talk. Man, it's heartbreaking to see people with no one in their lives that resort to this.

    Powerful story, thank BM

I saw this on the news last. God's love and forgiveness will work if they would only let Him in.

Truly an amazing story! I think we should all say a little prayer for him too.

    God bless
"People do not drift toward holiness. Apart from grace-driven effort, people do not gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord. We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance; We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom; We drift toward superstition and call it faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation; we slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism; we slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated?" - D A Carson

What struck me the most was how desperate this man was. For those who have never faced this situation, it is easy to condem and say I would never to that. It is too bad that others did not reach out to help.

But she didn't even get a chance to use the Law...

    (that was a joke!)
