The Rainmaker
The Rainmaker
The storm rolls in
The storm rolls out
Is this what its all about
Running around
Getting wet in the rain
Why do we have to feel all of this pain
Just as the sky clears
And the grass dries
Again we hear the cries
Again the floods come
And lightning strikes
Again pressure breaks the dykes
As we sit
The rain falling on our head
We think about what we have read
Does the rainmaker care
That the storm gave us a scare
And then the crops flourish
