safety/good conference

Dear friends, Please pray for my husband and me for our trip to the Oregon coast. We leave tomorrow and plan to attend a Christian couple's conference and also visit relatives in the Portland area over the weekend. There has been much rain lately so we are particularly concerned with good visibility and safety and, of course, a great conference and later visit with relatives. Some I have never met before..

Father, we thank You for our dear sister in the Lord. Thank You for providing them with this opportunity to travel for the conference and to visit family. I ask for traveling safety and blessings beyond measure for them and those they come in contact with. May Your Name be glorified in all they do and learn. Thanks for the prayers. Despite rain and wind we had safe traveling and the conference was, in a word, "awesome." God is good!
