    Divine Design - Earthworms

Earth-worms can be many different sizes eg. one in Australia is about 1 inch in diameter and 10-12 feet long and looks like a snake, though the average is 6-8 inches. All worms consume 1/3 rd of their body weight each day, and are very sensitive to vibrations and can go backwards as fast as forwards. They spit on the soil to soften it, then push with their sharp nose, their progress is assisted by special organs in their bodies that allow them to either push outwards or contract inwards. Worms also have special ‘anchors’ – a stiff hair either side of each segment of their body which they can push out or pull in to assist with movement.

A worm can be cut in 3 and each with regenerate the remainder of the worm!! Moles catch worms biting off their head to store for winter (they can’t go anywhere without a head), those that remain uneaten will eventually grow a new head.

Sheesh! Where does the soul of a worm reside? Or how many souls does a worm have?

I heard you can slice it's head down the middle and it'll grow 2 heads.
and that sometimes when trying to regenerate; a half gets confused and it end up regenerating a worm with two heads or two tails.

That would be funny to see
We are his body, We are his representative, We are the extension of God to the earth. Every action should be a extension of God's love.

You can definitely do that with planaria.
It is only the cynic who claims “to speak the truth” at all times and in all places to all men in the same way, but who, in fact, displays nothing but a lifeless image of the truth… He dons the halo of the fanatical devotee of truth who can make no allowance for human weaknesses; but, in fact, he is destroying the living truth between men. He wounds shame, desecrates mystery, breaks confidence, betrays the community in which he lives, and laughs arrogantly at the devastation he has wrought and at the human weakness which “cannot bear the truth”. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, in Ethics.
