Last night early this morning while working at CVS, my son's store was robbed at gunpoint and he is safe and I praise GOD for his protection as we are always praying for his safety.

A man who was turned away when he tried to buy alcohol at an Upland CVS/pharmacy returned with a gun and robbed the business this morning.
Upland police said the man came to the store at XXXXXXXXXXXX. at 2:17 a.m. and tried to purchase alcohol. A clerk refused to sell it to him, said police Sgt. Greg Doyle.
He reentered the store a few minutes later, pulled out a pistol from his waistband and took two clerks to the safe. He forced one of the employees to open the safe, Doyle said.
After he grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash, he ordered the employees to go to the back of the store and he ran. The robber is a 6-foot black man who is in his early 20s. He wore a dark baseball cap, a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
