I believe I may well be the last person on the planet who is online, but not on facebook.
I have been online since before there was an 'online' (dial in BBS)... but can not warm up to the blog/selfbook/mespace trend.
Ame I really alone>?

You must give me a little time to contrive a clever parting shot... But, while you wait please ponder that I refuse to text message as well.!.
I also have not warmed to facebook, in spite of pressure from family members and friends, nor any of those social sites. I believe I once registered at one of them (myspace?) while following a link and have since received all kinds of PMs and inquiries, often quite personal.
Gives me the willies.
I am failing miserably to adapt to modern society![]()
Oh, well, in that case there is HOPE![]()
Wow, a bunch of dinosaurs in here!
The minstrel boy to the war is gone,
In the ranks of death ye will find him;
His father's sword he hath girded on,
And his wild harp slung behind him;
"Land of Song!" said the warrior bard,
"Tho' all the world betray thee,
One sword, at least, thy rights shall guard,
One faithful harp shall praise thee!
You guys!!
.
Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him.Psalm 62:5

I love Facebook! I can drop a quick line to anyone I know and that includes people I have not seen in years, nor will I perhaps ever see again!
It is a valuable tool for keeping up with people--if one cares for them enough! It is also a valuable tool to witness of God's goodness--with status comments that we update whenever we want, people who don't know God and who are connected to us can read quickly what God is doing and how we praise and worship Him!
It's got it's good things. The nice thing is that you can make it as private as you want. Like no one can find you unless you let them pretty much.
Amos, I'm sorry to say that I succumbed and am now on Facebook. Like here, I'm a rookie, and have not learnt the ins and outs as of yet. I do get to keep in touch with family more there than through phone calls and visits. As of the other social sites, I'm not going to go there, I like my privacy and quality of life.
