So Debra, how is it going? I do pray that by God's grace you can miss out on all the worst side-effects of chemo. And I pray for your strength and faith. Don't become discouraged.

Hi Debra! I just want you to know that I love you dearly and Praying for you all the time.

Be sure you listen to Bandit. He is speaking from experience and is the very one who definitely knows what to pray for you. And, I'm praying right along with him, Sweetie. When you feel like it, and can concentrate, be sure to let us know how you are doing. Or tell Joe to let us know. Just remember, we are ALL praying hard for you!
    My favorite scripture: Malachi 3:16

"Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name!" (Every time we speak of the Lord, or even THINK of him--its written down in a book of remembrance!)

Joe and I are getting ready to go see the oncologist and start my first chemo. I'm trusting in the Lord.

Keeping you in my prayers as you go through this.

    God bless
"People do not drift toward holiness. Apart from grace-driven effort, people do not gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord. We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance; We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom; We drift toward superstition and call it faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation; we slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism; we slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated?" - D A Carson

9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Not feeling so well today. Woke up at 3:00 A.M. with nausea and headache. So far this morning I've taken the three different nausea meds they prescribed. Sleeping a lot, Don't feel like eating anything. I'm hoping to feel better as the day goes on. Hoping this doesn't last all day.

Thanks so much for all of your prayers. God's blessings to you.
