    Still praying for Deb here......

Please give her a gentle hug from us......

    Love you lots,
    Mieke
I would rather be dead than spend one second without Daddy!

Glory to the Lord our God
Glory to the Lamb on the throne
We open wide the gates of our hearts
With our lips we rise up and pray
as we worship the Ancient of Days

Our ICU is very quiet versus the floors, mine is a circus unfortunately. Prayed for good, kind, loving nurses and a quiet room to rest in. I know God is keeping this special family under His tender care.
9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    Deb is out of ICU
    Spirits are high.
I believe she's ready for a quiet nap so I'll let her sleep now.
    I'll update later.
    God Bless

Be sure to tell her we all love her and we ARE praying for her. I hope you can get some rest, too, Joe. Its difficult to 'rest' in a hospital. But, Debra is going to need you when she is able to go home. So, you need to rest, and eat, as much as you can, my friend. Give Tina and the rest of the family our love....

Bill knew I just now came in here to get on the board, and before it even pulled up my internet connection, he was in here asking, "Any word about Debra yet?" So, he got to read this with me. We are both GLAD she is out of ICU. We will pray till she is completely well again! I promise.
    My favorite scripture: Malachi 3:16

"Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name!" (Every time we speak of the Lord, or even THINK of him--its written down in a book of remembrance!)

Every day is a little better.
Yesterday as Deb was moved from ICU they left the drainage tubes in but stopped the pump and this seemed to ease a lot of the pain.
Then after we got to her room they removed the catheter.
She is eating about half of her food, chicken fingers, mashed potatoes and broccoli last night.
Things are looking up, the ladies from church have a schedule set up to come sit with Deb today so I'm going to head over there now for an hour or two and then actually go to work today, for awhile anyway.

I just wanted to say that every prayer, every phone call, private message, text message, visit, just everything is a big help.

When your in a room all day praying to get out every time someone post a prayer, sends a message or anything at all is a blessing and we thank everyone.

    God Bless

Sure am rejoicing in Debra's recovery this morning, and will, of course, continue to hold her, and you all, before the LORD.

We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance; We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom; We drift toward superstition and call it faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation; we slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism; we slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated?" - D A Carson

The last tube will probably come out tomorrow and we should get Deb home on Monday or Tuesday the latest.
The Lab results on the lymph nodes was positive so we'll be seeing an oncologist in a few weeks.
Not much more I can say right now.

    God Bless

Jesus said to the woman with the issue of blood who touched the hem of his garment....

"Daughter, your faith (yourtrust and confidence in Me, springing from faith in God) has restored you to health. Go in (into) peace and be continually healed and freed from your [distressing bodily] disease."

This is my prayer for Debra - that Jesus make her continually healed and freed from her distressing bodily disease.

    Oh no.

Praying this can be easily treated and no more cancer!

Praying the Lord stengthens all of you and comforts you.

    Psalm 91:4
He shall cover you with His feathers,And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

    God's blessing on you all.

We will be watching daily and praying confidently and in a group here for Debra. Very sorry to hear of this latest diagnosis and praying for you all for extra strength and peace as you meet these difficult circumstances.

Asking for our LORD's intervention and mighty deliverance for Debra. Praying also for relief of pain and suffering and continued and speedy recovery from this recent surgery.

    LORD Bless.

    Stephen
