Years ago I heard a sermon about Hell.The preacher said the reason of recent earthquakes and volcano erruptions was the cause of Hell getting ready to expand.

Hell is not actually located inside the planet. We know what's down there (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Structure_of_the_Earth), and earthquakes and volcano erruptions have nothing to do with Hell.

The scuba diver story is an urban legend (http://www.snopes.com/horrors/freakish/scuba.asp), and so are the stories about hearing noises from Hell underground (http://www.snopes.com/religion/wellhell.asp)

Credibility, and reputation are not easy to gain but they are easily lost.

I might encourage that pastor to guard his more closely by avoiding such questionable examples. If the 'scuba diver in a tree' is alleged as truth, what might one take away from his talking about a risen Christ?
