wondered what peoples experiences were with it.im thinking of taking it up...

    No, but!
I know a few people who take it and quite frankly I've never heard people so excited about exercise outside of an infomercial.

I would say if you're reasonably healthy, go ahead and try it! (I won't - I'm obese and unhealthy and I from what I hear, I think I'd keel over dead!)

I personally have not but I work with a girl who has become I think an addict She is looking very good though, probably went down 3 sizes so far. I would think because it is dance that it would be excellent cardiac exercise too. Anyway she loves it! Sometimes another girl goes with her and she said it is fun
9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Don't you have to have rhythm to do this? I have none...or I'm just shy .

Karen....I'm gonna tell you what my sister told me "when you do it I'll do it"...and she knows the truth on that! lolol.

I saw it on youtube...even downloaded some lady doing instructions on it...she was good...and slow. I'm afraid I'll throw something out! It does look fun...I think I'm just embarassed...even alone trying it at home...stupid, I know . I would like to do tae bo...that's more my style. I bought the tapes years ago but didn't have coordination then...as you get older you get more coordinated, right?

But in answer to your question...I've heard alot of people love it. Maybe I'll try it at home. At least if I trip and mess up the steps I'm the only one who will notice...along with my dog and cat .

Live your life in such a
way that, when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders and says...

    "Oh NO.... she's awake!"

    cheech.... like this
Fenris: "There are two ways to shoot an arrow into a bulls-eye You can shoot the arrow into the bulls-eye or you can shoot the arrow and paint the bulls-eye wherever it hits"

Romans 12:19 Don't seek revenge ... give place to God's wrath. For it is written "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord"

    Isa. 30:32
And every blow of the rod of punishment, which the Lord will lay on him, will be with the music of tambourines and lyres; And in battles, brandishing weapons, He will fight them

G_d was gracious He has shown favor

To me, it looks too much like a Michael Jackson routine for me to like it.

Too much work. Count me out.

Re: has anyone ever tried Zumba classes?

I have been hosting Zumba classes in my party/banquet room since March and am currently hosting 7 classes per week. It inspired me to start a Worship Fitness class on Sundays. Is anyone interested in participating? Please let me know your thoughts and comments. Thanks.

Re: has anyone ever tried Zumba classes?

I haven't been to an organized class, but I have tried the workout DVDs at home. Wanting to try it without the risk of making a fool of myself, I borrowed them from a neighbour while she was away on vacation over the summer. I found the workouts hard work, but SO much fun! With any workout, you go at your own pace and do what you can. More importantly, just have fun with it! I did and have even asked DH tango for the DVDs for Christmas!
