Promotional Ideas

Hi,

My name is Ron Kendrick. I'm an Author who wants to self promote. I have written 2 ebooks so far. One is on natural home remedies for Sinus Infections and the other on natural home remedies for Acid Reflux. I have 6 other books that are essentially a WIP being about 1/2 done each, and 6 others in the works, for a total of 14.

I bring all this up because I know that there are way to successfully promote and sell these books online, however, I haven't a clue as to how to even do that. Actually I have a little bit of a clue, but I am definitely green when it comes to both sales, as well as advertising on the web.

I guess I joined this forum to see if there were any God centered individuals out there who could offer some advise even guidance as to where and how to start. Even if that help was in the form of some simple prayers for me and my family.

As far as the "clue" is concerned, I have a website that I'm working on behind the scenes right now. I have set up all of the bank accounts and such, and all that admin. stuff I have in order. My biggest issue though is that once I decide to pull the trigger and release the site, it is going to cost money to run it. I have capitol to carry those costs for about 6 months if I don't sell a single book. However, selling the books and promoting my site will be my biggest challenge, and the area I seem to be struggling with at the moment.

Anyway, If anyone out there has any ideas or prayers for me and my family in this quest, it would be much appreciated.

A friend of mine wrote the book 'instructions are included'.



He joined Facebook, and has gone on tour doing book signings... the breakthrough came when he started giving the books away to the people the Lord placed on his heart.

It is ALL about being obedient. If the thing you wrote is really the Lord's work... He will direct your path.

Excellent advice. I plan to launch the site when I have 4 ebooks complete. God willing that will be by the end of March. When that Happens I'll be sure to get your email an mail you a free copy of any one you would like.
